  • 11/2 Tbsp sea salt
  • 1 Tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper


  • Wash and pat dry the rack of ribs
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and put the oven rack in the middle position.
  • Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil to make for easier cleanup. This isn’t a required step but will definitely make it easier when it comes time to wash the pan.
  • Lay the baby back ribs on the baking sheet.
  • Season well with the dry rub.

  • Bake ribs uncovered for 1 hour. Then tightly wrap the baking sheet with foil, to keep the steam from escaping.
  • Cook the baby back ribs another 11/2 hours. Lower the temperature to 250°F.
  • After 11/2 hours put on BBQ sauce. Cover again and cook 30 minutes.
  • At this point the ribs should be falling off the bones.
  • Serve and enjoy! Each baked BBQ ribs rack serves about 2-3 people.
